How much does it cost?

I provide a high-quality professional handyman service in the Portishead and surrounding areas, with new work guaranteed. I work quickly and efficiently with an extensive knowledge built up over many years in construction and related industries. 

 

There is no call out charge and I will undertake the work personally.  

 

Fixtures and fittings (e.g. flat packs; kitchen units, bathroom cabinets etc.) should be purchased by the customer before the scheduled start date.

Standard handyman rates 

 

I like to keep my rates as transparent as possible and as follows: 

 

• £28 per hour, billed in quarter-hour steps. Minimum 1 hour. 

• Small sundries are included. Any specific materials are charged at cost. 

• Standard rates apply Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. 

• I accept payment in cash, cheque or bank transfer, payable on completion.  

 

Saturday or evening rates

If it is not convenient for the work to be carried out Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, an evening or Saturday appointment may be arranged – the charges are 

• £40 per hour, billed in quarter-hour steps. Minimum 1 hour.

Bespoke projects

If you are interested in a larger project, such as build and fitting bespoke shelving units, then a quotation can be provided  

 
 

Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment 

 

If you need to reschedule or cancel please let me know two full business days before the appointment or a minimum charge will apply.
